Healthy Apple Crisp Recipe

I thought that I’d share this healthy apple crisp recipe that I found. It is really quite good!


  • 4 apples, peeled, cored and diced

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour (or white flour)

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 2 tablespoons margarine (or other healthy butter-like)

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon

  • cooking spray


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Dice your apples and put them in the bottom of an 8×8-inch baking pan.

  3. Mix the remaining ingredients, except for the honey and cooking spray. I start with a spoon and then use my fingers to get that butter mixed in thoroughly.

  4. Spread the above mixture on top of the apples.

  5. Spray with cooking spray and drizzle with honey.

  6. Bake at 375°F for 35 minutes.
